29/10/2019 – Update: On review, Avast have whitelisted CodeLine.AppAdminSetup.exe which should bring an end to this alert. Please contact CodeLine if you have any concerns.
It has been brought to our attention that Avast is reporting one of CodeLine’s helper executables (CodeLine.AppAdminSetup.exe) as being infected with “idp.generic”. This is incorrect and a “false positive” which has been reported to Avast. Additionally, we have provided this file to a 3rd party public site for assessment to verify that it is clean: VirusTotal Report. Of course, our many software listing partners have declared our products “clean” for nearly a decade and would not host otherwise.
